Words truly fail me as I write to you for the first time as the director of WEGO. My family has been absolutely overwhelmed by God’s faithfulness as we’ve walked a long journey towards a call to missions. I have loved and served with WEGO for over a decade and I am beyond honored to step into this position.
For my family, this season represents three births. In December, we celebrate and remember God stepping into our world through Jesus our Immanuel. In January, years of longing and stirring to care for the hurting and under-privileged become a reality as I officially step into my new role as the director of WEGO. And in early March, Carlie and I will welcome our fourth child into our family.
I can’t wait for the days and years ahead to get time with each of you to share more about our journey and to hear yours! If you are reading this, you are have already invested your time, money, and/or prayers into the work of WEGO. I thank you, not just as the now director but as a man who loves the people under WEGO’s care with all of my heart.
As we look towards finishing this year together I wanted to also let you know about a great giving opportunity. Several donors have offered to do a Matching Funds Campaign for WEGO. I wanted to ask each of you to pray how you could be a part of giving generously towards the work of WEGO and the ministries that have been entrusted to us.
Donations that come into the ministry between now and January 15, 2016 (or until the Matching Campaign Funds are met) will be matched. If you already are a regular monthly donor or sponsor, this matching activity does not include your monthly gift.
The funds that are being raised during this period of time can be designated to a specific ministry, staff/missionary, or a special project.
If you want to be a part of the matching funds campaign, there are two ways to donate.

Please write ‘Matching Funds’ in the memo section. If you are designating your donation write the name of the ministry, staff/missionary, or project in the memo section as well. Any undesignated donations will go into WEGO’s general operations funds and used where it is most needed.

Notate that the donation is for the matching campaign along with any designation in the “Designate Funds for a Ministry/Staff” box when you review your online Paypal donation.
