About Heydi:
As the Administrative Director, I supervise all WEGO projects and activities. I make monthly budgets, solve problems within the ministry, and I also represent WEGO to the Nicaraguan government. I’ve been working with WEGO since 2012 and I love every part of my job.
I attend Hosanna Church in Diriamba where I am a prayer group leader and we visit sick people from our church to pray for them. My favorite Bible verses are Isaiah 43:18&19 – “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
I am married and have two children, a boy and a girl. We live with my mother and she is a great support as she takes care of our kids when we are not at home. My husband runs a car wash and mechanic shop.
I don’t go out for fun very often but when I do my family likes to go to the beach. I also enjoy taking care of my home and doing crafts with the kids at my church. Having Christ in my heart and my family are the things that make me the happiest.
