We recently heard our school in Nicaragua needed ten ‘2017’ purple tassels for our graduation caps. We ordered them online for $42.90 and trusted God to provide this unbudgeted expense. Later that day, we were handed cash and coins (pictured above) from a 4th grade class at a local Christian school that had used lemonade stands and garage sales to raise money for missions. It was $43.50. That’s just what God does- He always provides and He always does it through people. Can you please pray how you can join WEGO through end-of-the-year-giving?
Every year, WEGO is able to raise a substantial portion of our annual budget through our Matching Funds Campaign! This year we have $100,000 to be matched for designation! This money isn’t just coins in a coffer but will be put to incredible use throughout 2018: teacher’s salaries in Nicaragua, food on the table and crops in the ground for our orphanage in Mongolia, electricity, gas, clothes, school supplies, and everything in between! Check out our ‘Giving Menu‘ to see a few examples of exactly where your money goes. Here are the rules:
- Every one-time designated donation that is given between now and December 31st, 2017 will be doubled, up to $100,000!
- Any undesignated donations will go into WEGO’s general fund and used where it is most needed.
