About Miriam:
I began working with WEGO in 2017 as a translator and assistant to the Administrative Director. Part of my work includes gathering information from churches, WEGO staff, and students/feeding program kids for the monthly prayer guide. This includes taking photos and getting information and prayer requests from them. This is the best part of my job because I get to visit the kids’ homes and meet their families. I also get to visit local churches, meet with the pastor, and get to know the WEGO staff better. This helps me know how I can pray for them.

I go to Sinai Church in Diriamba where I am part of a prayer group and I also go to Servant Heart Church in Jinotepe where I am part of the youth group. I am willing to go to the nations to share the Gospel! My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through him who gives me strength.”

I am married and we live with my dad, a brother, and a nephew. I love to spend time with my husband and family. I also love to have coffee with my brothers, read, and watch movies. The things that make me the happiest are to be in God’s will, knowing I am saved by grace, and to see my family happy.

The Lord has taught me so many things through circumstances in my life. Because of that, I have talked with many ladies about guarding our hearts from things that can destroy our relationship with God. If we are seeking God all the time, He will help us to be faithful. I love to think that one day I could host conferences for young girls that are going through hard times, God willing.
