About Raquel:
I began working with WEGO in 2006. As the Feeding Program Director, my job is to buy the food each week for the school and feeding program. Then I make sure the food is prepared and given out to the students and children in the feeding program. I also attend the ORPHANetwork meetings. I love serving others and serving the kids.

I attend Yo Soy Jehovah Church and I serve in the feeding program there. I am also the pastor’s assistant and Vice President of the kids program. My favorite Bible verse is Philippians 4:13 – “I can do all things through him who gives me strength.”

I am married and we have two kids, a boy and a girl. I don’t have much free time but when I do I like to make nacatamales. Having Christ in my heart, my husband, and my kids are the things that make me happy.
