WELCOME HOME!
A New House For New Hope

New Hope Children’s Home was birthed in 2005 in response to orphaned and abandoned children living in Mongolia’s sewer system to escape the harsh elements of winter and the dangers of the street.

For twenty years, these vulnerable children found protection and the love of Jesus inside the walls of a converted summer house in the countryside of Gachuurt.

But through the years, the home showed signs of hazard and decay. Ceilings caved, mold grew, and frigid air flowed through the walls. A frozen septic and cracked bathroom foundation forced the children to use an outhouse, even in -30°F.

From 2018 to 2024, 133 givers and 5 churches sacrificed $350,000 to build a new home for New Hope. This urgent project weathered four fundraising campaigns, multiple building delays, and a global pandemic.

The children moved in and ran around their new home for the first time on February 2, 2025.

More than a house, these givers built a safe harbor of hope and a sanctuary where Love gets the final say. They went ahead and put a slide in it, too…
