100% of your donation (less processing fees) goes towards our monthly WEGO budgets. Your generosity will help cover all ongoing expenses related to the operation of New Hope Children’s Home in Mongolia, New Hope School and community center in Nicaragua, and our local missionary in Ukraine. Not a bad way to spend your money, if you ask us!
This is the fun part. Your generosity doesn’t get thrown into a big black hole of admin costs and mystery. Your monthly sacrifice makes a major impact in the lives of actual real-life people. We want you to know their names, see their faces, and hear their voices.
The people we get to serve also love to know someone is praying for them. We’re going to make sure both of these things happen by sending you a quick personalized video from our one of staff members or children every year. They will say ‘hi’, tell you about themselves, and let you know how you can pray for them. A wonderful win-win!
We will be hosting some fun and simple gatherings for our Fan Club members every year. It might be….
- ‘Hey everyone! Come join us at 1pm on Saturday for some fresh and free snow-cones! We have a cool video to show you of the difference you’re making, too!’
- ‘We will be gathering next month to write some notes for our upcoming New Hope School graduates while eating some Nacatamales.’
- Did someone say, ‘FAN CLUB STEAK NIGHT™ ???’
No pressure on joining but just count on getting an invite! We have some fun ideas to make sure our out-of-state Fan Club members are included, too.
We would love nothing more than our Fan Club members to get a firsthand look at the difference they are making. The exact discount will be trip-specific but we’ll do our best to make it easy for you to say ‘Yes, I’m coming!’
We get that. We will only contact you a few times a year and we’ll never ask you for anything in return. We’ll just send you cool and important stuff like videos to you from our kids and staff, quick updates, and invites to special events. Details above!
We have prayerfully chosen to use this Fan Club to cover our ongoing expenses instead of a child sponsorship program. We simply believe this will give more dignity to the kids we are entrusted to serve. However, your money will be used exactly as it would if this were a sponsorship program – straight to the budgets that make a difference in their lives.
Our brand-new Fan Club is just the Field Staff Fan Club updated, expanded, and made better! The money is all going to the same place and you will be able to hear from more than just a single staff member. Plus, this one has a Fan Club Steak Night™!
First of all, that’s a pretty bold question to ask in this forum. But we’ll bite. Giving is deeply sacrificial. Helping others can be quite uncomfortable at times. Following Jesus costs us our very life. But giving of ourselves to serve others is also incredibly joyous. And we hope to make it enjoyable and life-giving for you with these special videos, extras, and gatherings along the way.
